USPTA Pro Selected Head Coach for Paraclete  H. S. Girls Tennis Team

Earlier this year (2019) Leonard Johnson, USPTA Certified tennis teaching professional was selected as Head Coach for the Paraclete High School girls tennis team.

This is the first year that the high school loacted in Lancaster, CA has fielded a tennis team. Coach Leonard brings nearly fourty five years of tennis experience with him,

23yrs as player followed by nearly 22yrs as a tennis trainer. "I am looking forward to the challenges of building a competitive girls tennis team", said Coach Leonard.

Johnson's Community Junior/Adult Tennis Association, ( JCJ/ATA, Inc.)

JCJ/ATA is a community tennis association, CTA that is based in and services the Antelope Valley area.
What is a CTA? It is a group of dedicated volunteers  and professionals who come together to support community tennis programs. These enthusiasts act as advocates, program adminstrators, promoters or fund-raisers. This not-for-profit association exists to promote and develop the game of tennis in the community. 

JCJ/ATA supports existing tennis programs and helps to create non-exsistent tennis programs that are of interest to the tennis playing community and that will also promote the growth of tennis the community. JCJ/ATA was formed and incorperated 2011.  Leonard Johnson is the CEO of the organization.

Mission Statement:
Provide a unifying umbrella for tennis in our community. With community support and involvement being the primary force behind the local growth of tennis. Make learning the sport of tennis available to everyone in the community that is interested in doing so. Secure indoor tennis courts that would make year-round tennis programs such as NJTL, 10 and Under Tennis, junior and adult tennis tournaments as well as other tennis programs possible and practical. 



What A Debut!


Rachel Tisdale, A 16-year-old Palmdale resident, won the second-place trophy at the
Rancho Cienega Tennis Shop Fall Junior Novice Tennis Tournament on Sat. Oct. 6, 2012.
She played five matches in the Girls 16 round robin division. It was her first ever tennis
tournament, "It was fun and I feel I am ready to move to the next level," Tisdale said.
She plays out of the Antelope Valley-based Johnson's Community Junior/Adult Tennis Association.

Ania who is a 10 year old resident of Palmdale, CA in the Antelope Valley was the number two seed in the tournament which was held at the Burbank Tennis Center in the San Fernando Valley from Dec. 26, 2013 to Dec. 29, 2013. Ania won the Girls 10 Singles title after loosing the first set of her finals match. The final score was: 2-6, 7-5, 10-5. Ania plays out of, Johnson's Community Junior/Adult Tennis Association, (JCJ/ATA ) and is coached by it's CEO, Leonard Johnson.

Ania Snissarenko: First Place Winner of the, 63rd Annual Central California Junior Tennis Tournament!
The tournament took place at the Bakersfield Racket Club in Bakersfield, CA on Saturday, April 4th.
Ania won with a score of  6-0, 6-2  over the # 1 seed in the Girls 10 Singles Division. Ania is a resident of Palmdale, CA and plays out of, Johnson's Community Junior/Adult Tennis Association, ( JCJ/ATA), which is based in the Antelope Valley and is coached by it's CEO, Leonard Johnson
