$65 per doubles team - $5 materials fee per student
First six week session starts: NOW!

. A cardio drill clinic will kick off the first meeting of the this mixed doubles ladder.

 The "Ladder" will be established based on the results of the first
 meeting of the doubles teams. Tentative: Each team will play one 9 game pro-set no ad scoring at the initial meeting.
The results will determine each teams standing on the "Ladder".  After the "Ladder" has been established , teams will be able
to challenge a team 1 to 2 positions above them. In other words if your team is in position #8 on the "Ladder" you can
challenger #7 or 6 but not #5. Challenges must always be up, #4 cannot challenge #6 which is below you.
Teams will have flexibility on when and where they play. Marie Kerr Park in Palmdale 
will be the location of our home court. However mixed doubles teams may play their matches at a time and location that is
agreeable to the teams involved. Teams may play on the home court when available. This will be on a first come basis and
cannot be reserved. Teams that are challenged may not refuse to play the first challenge they receive. A challenged team
that refuses to play or is a no-show will loose their position on the " Ladder". Teams will not be required to play more
than two matches per week and challenges should be met in a timely manner, but will have the option of playing
matches 5 days aparts. An award will be presented to the team in the #1 on the "Ladder" at the end of the six week session.
The new six week session will start shortly there after.

Note: There must be six mixed doubles teams registered by the start of the session or session will be cancelled.

Draw will be posted on USTA site on 5-11-16   Tournament fee: $23.00
There will be on line registration on the USTA site. No registration on this site also no phone registration for this tournament. Check USTA site for mail-in registration info. for this event.
Registration is limited there will however be a waiting list.
Tournament format is Singles Round Robin. Number of games played in each round for each division will be based on the draw size for each division. Divisions may be combined or cancelled based on draw size. Players will be notified of their division start times on the USTA site. Players are responsible for checking their start time if does not appear online.

Saturday, May 18, 2013.  There are four age divisions,( 10 and Under: 78 ft. court green dot balls), (12 and under14 and under, 16 and under 78 ft court).
Entry deadline Sat. April 4th. Entry fee: $30 per player.
1st and 2nd place awards will be given in each age division.
Play Format:
Round Robin - Number of games played will be determined by the number of registered players per division.
Divisions may be combined depending on number of registered players 
In the event of a tie for 1st place in any division a 10pt tiebrake will determine 1st and 2nd place.

First matches will start at 8:00 am
All players will receive notification of their playing time. In the event you are not notified of your playing time please check this site or call 818-800-7802

What A Debut!

 

IMPRESSIVE -
Rachel Tisdale, A 16-year-old Palmdale resident, won the second-place trophy at the
Rancho Cienega Tennis Shop Fall Junior Novice Tennis Tournament on Sat. Oct. 6, 2012.
She played five matches in the Girls 16 round robin division. It was her first ever tennis
tournament, "It was fun and I feel I am ready to move to the next level," Tisdale said.
She plays out of the Antelope Valley-based Johnson's Community Junior/Adult Tennis Association.

 JCJ/ATA  JUNIOR PLAYER GOES TO ANAHEIME

Ania Snissarenko, 9 years old was the 1st Place winner in the Orange County Junior Novice tennis tournament in Anaheime, CA on Sat., Nov. 10, 2012. She was the best of five players in this 10 and Under Round Robin event which took place at the Orange County Tennis Academy. Ania is a resident of Palmdale, CA and plays out of , Johnson's Community Junior/Adult Tennis Association, which is based in the Antelope Valley. Ania says, " I am very excited and looking forward to my next tournament."

ANIA SNISSARENKO WINS THE  28TH ANNUAL RACQUET CENTER
WINTER JUNIOR SATELLITE TOURNAMENT:
Ania who is a 10 year old resident of Palmdale, CA in the Antelope Valley was the number two seed in the tournament which was held at the Burbank Tennis Center in the San Fernando Valley from Dec. 26, 2013 to Dec. 29, 2013. Ania won the Girls 10 Singles title after loosing the first set of her finals match. The final score was: 2-6, 7-5, 10-5. Ania plays out of, Johnson's Community Junior/Adult Tennis Association, (JCJ/ATA ) and is coached by it's CEO, Leonard Johnson.

The tournament took place at the Bakersfield Racket Club in Bakersfield, CA on Saturday, April 4th.
Ania won with a score of  6-0, 6-2  over the # 1 seed in the Girls 10 Singles Division. Ania is a resident of Palmdale, CA and plays out of, Johnson's Community Junior/Adult Tennis Association, ( JCJ/ATA), which is based in the Antelope Valley and is coached by it's CEO, Leonard Johnson.
